Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, visited Naomi House Children’s Hospice in Hampshire, United Kingdom. The Duchess marked Children’s Hospice Week by recording her first video message, released on April 28, 2013, which appealed for support for the initiative aimed at raising awareness and funds:
“Children’s Hospice provides a lifeline to families at a time of unimaginable pain… the support they give is vital. I’ve been fortunate to see at first hand the remarkable work that they do.”
