Building upon over 20 years of experience CHI's current projects include:
Demonstration Projects
CHI Program for All-Inclusive Care for Children® & their Families (CHI PACC®), with technical assistance from Centers for Medicaid & Medicare (CMS, formerly HCFA) and funded by appropriations from the U.S. Congress.
The project includes program development/ support, education and training, standards, outcome measures, evaluation, quality assurance, regulatory and funding issues.
CHI recognizes that there are unique circumstances involved in the care of children with life-threatening conditions and their families, which differ significantly from those of adult patients. The concept embraces all aspects and phases of treatment counseling from time of diagnosis of the patient, with hope for cure, through bereavement of family members.
