CHI ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

Children's Hospice International has established these Awards in order to honor leaders for outstanding contributions to hospice and palliative care for children.

Categories of Awards:

Charles A. Corr Award for Literature
This award recognizes one who has written any type of literature, from textbooks to poetry, which has inspired children with life threatening conditions and those professionals who are fortunate to work with them.

Sister Frances Dominica Award for Innovative Program Development
This award recognizes a health care provider who has created a program that will benefit children with life threatening conditions and their families.

Earl A. Grollman Award for Bereavement
This award recognizes any work that innovatively addresses the important issue of bereavement and staff support.

Elisabeth Kübler-Ross Award for Outstanding Contribution
This award recognized an individual who has made a significant difference to the field of hospice type care for children with life threatening conditions.

Robert A. Milch Award for Palliative Pain and Symptom Management
This award recognizes a health care provider who has contributed an innovative approach to pain and symptom management for children and adolescents.

Melinda Lawrence Award for Children's Literature
This award recognizes an individual whose talent shown through poetry, art, or props inspires others.

Mattie Stepanek Champion Award
This award recognizes any individual with extraordinary commitment to the CHI PACC® Program.
