In May 2007, CHI celebrated the 25th Anniversary of its funding with a program and reception at the Metropolitan Club in New York City. The Honorable Margaret Tutwiler, Executive Vice President NY Stock Exchange, served as the honorary chairman. “The Purple Balloon,” by award winning illustrator and author, Chris Raschka, was introduced and a book signing was held later at Books of Wonder in NYC
